What does your job entail?
I am a ‘jack of all trades’, one minute sourcing, next minute packing orders to calling customers and through in some social media! It is honestly a juggling act!
What activities set you up best for creative inspiration for your business?
Having a wee tipple with other business owners and the ideas & inspiration flow!
Best piece of advice you’ve been given in business ?
Stay passionate and remember your ‘why’
What is a great lesson from businesses that stock your brand?
Being told, I need to be more visible. Customers want to hear or see you!
How do you switch off from work? Can you?
I love a good G&T to escape, but getting amongst nature for a walk to clear the mind and get your head in the right space is my go too! Yes, I can switch off.
How do you plan the year ahead for your business?
I don’t…but I know I should!
What has been hardest about the last 3 years in business ?
Having to face the reality of closing down a business and starting again.
What have you been enjoying most about the last 3 years in business?
Not a lot really, but I guess having more time and going at a slower pace.
Hardest business lesson you’ve learnt
If you are failing or a product is failing, fail quickly and move on!
What is something you love things about being in The 09 Collective (or the idea of for newbies!?)
