What does your job entail? I am the founder and designer at Victoria Jane.
What activities set you up best for creative inspiration for your business?
My best creative space is when im relaxed and have time to design and create. I do my best design ideas usually when on holiday.
Best piece of advice you’ve been given in business ?
Do the tasks that will provide income first.
What is a great lesson from businesses that stock your brand?
Be proactive and present on social media.
How do you switch off from work?
I think the lines get blurred as I love what I do, this isn’t always a bad thing.
How do you plan the year ahead for your business?
We are a new start up so now we are quite fluid with planning as we explore new opportunities.
What has been hardest about the last 3 years in business ?
Cash flow when getting a new brand established and funding new product lines.
What have you been enjoying most about the last 3 years in business?
Seeing people love our designs and products. Brining our brand to market.
Hardest business lesson you’ve learnt?
Not all people are honest, trust your gut.
What is something you love things about being in The 09 Collective (or the idea of for newbies!?)
I am new but am looking forward to being with likeminded people.
If you could choose 3 products from another 09 Collective Brand - what would they be?
Not sure yet as haven’t seen any products. I am sure there will be loads I will love- I cant wait to see all of the gorgeous products the exhibitors have!
